This project focused on designing a modern mobile app for Hair Style, a retailer specializing in hair wigs and perfumes. The goal was to provide users with a seamless shopping experience, personalized recommendations, and an easy-to-navigate interface. Targeted at fashion-conscious individuals aged 18-45, the app aimed to expand the brand’s market reach and improve customer engagement.
The design process began with an in-depth analysis of competitors and user feedback, with a specific focus on the unique challenges of the hair styling and beauty industry. These challenges included addressing users' diverse hair types, styles, and preferences, and the need for a personalized experience to suit a variety of beauty standards. User research revealed pain points such as the difficulty in visualizing new hairstyles and finding suitable hair professionals. To tackle these issues, we integrated features like personalized recommendations based on hair type and user preferences, as well as a virtual try-on tool to help users visualize different styles.
